Searching the catalogue, checking a call before it runs, planning, cached answers, failed calls and retries are not billed. 2. A Zapier task is one successful action step. Triggers, polling, filters, paths and formatting steps are not counted, so a Zap often bills fewer tasks than it has steps. A Zapier MCP tool call draws two tasks. Zapier's pay-per-task overage is 1.25 times the plan rate on annual billing. 3. A Make credit is one module run. Routers and error handlers are free; iterators, aggregators and transforms each cost a credit, so a scenario may spend more than one credit per vendor call. Make's price list has no 100,000 step; the 150,000 Core tier is shown at the rate for 100,000 actually used. 4. An n8n execution is one run of a whole workflow, however many steps. We assume five steps per run and count all five as actions. n8n prices in euros, so its figure is in euros; a public cloud price covering a million actions a month was not published on the day. 5. A Pipedream credit covers 30 seconds of compute for one action or tool call; a single API call fits in one credit. Pipedream also bills US$2 per external user above 100 on Connect. 6. Arcade bills US$0.01 per tool call plus US$0.10 per sign-in event; the figure counts tool calls only and leaves sign-in events out, so it is a floor (one sign-in per hundred calls would add US$1.00 per 1,000). * Make and n8n Cloud: from a third-party price listing: the vendor's page rendered no figure on the day. **What these platforms do well.**Zapier has the broadest app library and the most mature trigger model.Make's visual builder and dense credit ladder are good value for hand-built scenarios.n8n can be self-hosted for the price of a server, and its workflows are open.Pipedream gives you a full code runtime around each action.Arcade handles the sign-in to each tool for the agent and keeps the tokens. actionlake has no event triggers: agents and schedules start the work, and a scheduled plan that asks what is new since the last run covers most trigger cases. Microsoft Power Automate is priced per person, not per action, so it is not on this table. Workato, Tray and Paragon publish no prices. Every number on this page comes from one public document, served without a key. Your agent, or your procurement team, can price a month of work before anyone signs anything, and the `cost` tool reads the same file. Any change carries 60 days' notice. Each one is a sentence from the price book or the code. **Are cached answers really free?** Yes, in the terms. A cached answer makes no call to your systems, so there is nothing to charge for. The response says AL-Cache: hit; check it against your vendor's own usage page. Fair use is generous: 200 hits per billed call. **What happens at my cap?** The call is refused before it is sent, so it costs nothing, and the error names what to do. cost shows headroom the whole way, so most agents re-plan before they reach it. The Free plan is a hard stop; nothing is ever billed to it. **How do I pay?** Choose a plan on this page; it opens a pre-filled message to hello@actionlake.com with your tenant id. We set the plan and reply. Invoices are monthly, in USD, minimum US$10. **Do I need a card to start?** No. One call creates a sandbox with 100,000 calls. When you choose a plan, send us your tenant id; we set the plan and confirm by email. Nothing is charged today, and your invoice is priced at the published rate. **Why can one question cost several calls?** Because it took several real calls to answer: long lists come in pages, and an ask touches more than one system. check estimates the count first, free, and the receipt shows the exact number. **Is there a per-seat charge?** No. People and agents are never counted, on any plan. Connect one agent or a hundred, and add every person who approves or reviews. You pay for work done in your systems, not for the number of things allowed to ask. **Can I run production on the Free plan?** Yes. Free is 100,000 calls a month with a hard stop, and production is allowed. One Free tenant per organisation: tenants you run for your own customers are yours, and belong on a paid plan. **Can I cap a single agent?** Yes. Every key carries its own cap in calls, and a key can mint keys with a share of that cap, never more, so an orchestrator hands each worker exactly what it may spend. **Which failures are free?** Every one you did not cause: a vendor's 401, 403, 429 or 5xx, a timeout, and anything validation rejected before it left. You pay for a request that reached a vendor and came back with a definitive answer, nothing else. **Does setup cost anything?** No. Creating a tenant, minting keys, connecting systems and setting caps make no calls to your systems, so they are free. The first 100,000 calls are free too. **What currency am I billed in?** USD. Every price on this page is the USD list price, and your invoice is in USD. Prices exclude sales tax. Sales tax is added to US invoices where it applies. **Will the price change?** The price book is versioned and any increase carries 60 days' notice. This version raises Team, Business, Enterprise and the Dedicated IP; anyone already on them gets 60 days' notice before the new price applies. Prepaid blocks never expire. **What is a bucket?** A whole month at a set volume on Business or Enterprise: the plan's base, plus every action past the plan's allowance at the bucket's own rate, from US$0.18 down to US$0.16 per 1,000, rounded to a clean monthly figure. The 10M bucket is US$2,100 a month, US$99 under the same month metered. Past the bucket, the plan's published rate applies. Above 50M actions a month is by agreement. **Who can have a Dedicated IP?** Any tenant on Team or above, at US$149 a month per address, prorated per second. Enterprise includes one at no charge. Ask us to add it; from then on you switch it on, recycle it and remove it yourself. **What is the minimum invoice?** US$10.
